Big Storage, Big Growth: Another U.S. Firm Powers Up the Energy Revolution

Recently, the US energy storage company Our Next Energy (ONE) announced the launch of a new localized source-grid side large-scale energy storage system portfolio, including LFP battery cells, battery packs and battery management systems (BMS), aiming to fill the gap in the industry supply chain while meeting the US market's urgent demand for localized energy storage solutions.

Localized layout to seize policy dividends

As the United States increases its investment in renewable energy, localized production has become an important way for companies to obtain policy support. The products launched by ONE this time are not only completely made in the United States, but also meet the requirements of the safe harbor provisions of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Starting in 2027, its products will 100% meet local standards and help customers obtain investment tax credits (ITC) incentives. This strategic layout responds to the U.S. government's support policy for the local supply chain and also provides energy storage project developers with a more cost-competitive solution.

"The energy storage industry is being driven by a surge in demand for grid load from data centers and manufacturing, and the need for locally manufactured cells, modules and battery management systems is unprecedented," said Mujeeb Ijaz, founder and CEO of ONE. "We are diversifying our product offerings to work with more customers on a variety of projects while also expanding our capacity at our cell factory in Michigan."

Three core products meet the energy storage needs of the power grid

314Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP)

The battery cell has high energy density and is widely compatible with various energy storage systems;

It complies with the requirements of US domestic tax credits and EU battery passport;

The supply chain is transparent to ensure traceability;

Battery Pack
Based on commercial vehicle technology, strengthen safety design and focus on energy density;
Multiple redundant systems effectively suppress the risk of thermal runaway

Battery Management System (BMS)
Supports 1500V high voltage and 350A continuous current;
Distributed battery cell monitoring to optimize system safety and efficiency;
Designed for fixed energy storage scenarios;

Market demand surges, energy storage industry ushers in explosive growth
In recent years, the surge in electricity demand from data centers, manufacturing and other industries has driven the rapid growth of the U.S. grid energy storage market. According to the U.S. Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) report "U.S. Energy Storage Vision" released in 2025, it is expected that grid-side energy storage will reach 560GWh by 2030, and 80% of energy storage installed capacity will be deployed in the field of transmission connection.
Innovation in energy storage technology and localized production are becoming the core of industry competition. ONE founder and CEO Mujeeb Ijaz emphasized, "Now is the best time for American companies to invest in energy storage systems and promote electrification transformation."
